rev 47472 wpfsample problem with vs2010

Jun 21, 2010 at 10:46 AM

rev 47472 compiled fine. wpfsample generates compile error states that it cannot fine Settings1.Designer.cs. i just renamed Settings.Designer.cs to Settings1.Designer.cs. after that it compiles fine. to run the wpfsample, i copied everything from this folder D:\src\awesomium_v1.6_beta_b_sdk_msvc9\bin\debug into wpfsample debug folder. when wpfsample is executed, it generates error [0621/]Check failed:IsStringASCII(ascii). *wierd symbols follows*.

did anybody ever succesfully compiled this in windows 7 using vs2010?

I think the reason why this doesn't work is that Awesomium for MSVC9 is used with AwesomiumDotNet for MSVC10. The release version seems to work, though.

I removed the settings files altogether, they weren't necessary.

Thanks for the feedback!

hi, tested with the release version. works perfect. by the way, i notice the cpu usage is somewhat high. plus, youtube video cannot be control. ie. play/pause button does not work. nevertheless, great work. thanks.

I have tested AwesomiumDotNet revision 51349 with Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 using awesomium_v1.6_beta_b_sdk_msvc9.

The WpfSample quits the process at MainWindow.xaml.cs(37) where trying to create an instance of WebCore.

When stepping into each line by pressing the F11 key, it performs the creation of WebCore instance normally, but throws an exception at WebCoreWrapper.cpp(286) where trying to create an instance of WebView.

Fatal error [0920/130732:FATAL:processdllmain.cpp(499)] Check failed: browser_pid != 0 (0 vs. 0)

How to compile and run the WpfSample?

By the way, there is Awesomium v1.6 RC1 SDK already available for download.
